Hi there!

My name is Liza and I’m a person driven by curiosity, adaptability, and education. I graduated from North Carolina State University in the Fall of 2018 with a B.S. in Zoology, and minors in German and International Studies. Naturally, I took that degree and chose to pursue my Master’s in Interactive Media from Elon University, where I graduated with my M.A. in May 2020. I get many funny looks when I explain my degrees, but they truly go hand-in-hand with the idea of science communication and broad public education. The intertwining of a STEM field and an arts field allows me to be able to explain topics in more interesting and simple ways, as well as providing me with a unique background in working with many different people, projects, and thought processes. I love the process and implementation of teaching and inspiring people through fun and interactive ways, whether it’s for a sports team, public science, or eco-tourism!

In my free time, I love to be outdoors, at the barn with my horse, or cheering on my favorite teams (go Canes and go Pack!).
